MR LINCOLN ELLSWORTH'S TRIP. (Special to the "Guardian.") HOIKITIKA, Sept. 13. Mr Lincoln Ellsworth, the American explorer, flew from the Wigram Aerodrome to Waiho yesterday in a machine piloted by Mr J. C. Mercer. Mr Ellsworth is taking the opportunity of inspecting the Alpine beauty and at the same time keeping in trim for the Antarctic expedition in November. He will climb over the Alps, making; his way via Graham's Pass to tho Hermitage. He expressed keen delight and appreciation, of the beautiful panorama, revealed during Ids transAlpine flight yesterday.
