A Paris cablegram dated August 1 stated: M. Herriot has accepted an invitation from the (Soviet to visit Moscow.. He says his sole object is to study conditions. M. Herriot is leader of the Radical-Socialist Party. He has several times been Premier and recently went to Amprica to represent his country in discussion with Mr Roosevelt.
