STRAIGHTENING SUGGESTED (United Press Association —Copyright) LONDON, September 13. Dr. Miles Walker (Professor of Electrical Engineering at Manchester University) propounded a- scheme to the British Association for straightening the Thames. The increase in the value of sites would pay the cost of the constructional work.
