SERIOUS CHARGES.
REMANDS GRANTED TO POLICE (Per Press Association). AUCKLAND, Sept. 11. Helge Vigo Sorensen, 46 years ot age, was further remanded to-day on a charge of attempting to murder Louisa Annie Thompson at Onehunga on September 2.
John Halbert lid wards, aged 11, was also further remanded on a charge ol murdering Christina Cunningham at Grey Lynn on August .1(5.
