ARREST OF A FRENCH GIRL.

A stylish brunette named Violette Noziere, agetl 18, was arrested in a cafo at Montmartre at midnight in consequence of the death of her father from poisoning and the severe illness of her mother, who is imploring death to end her sufferings.
.Violette, who has been, likened to Lucretia Borgia, allegedly confessed to five attempts to kill her parents, whom she hated. She once went herself to the hospital for treatment, after which she gave her parents' powders to prevent their infection. The same night the flat was set on fire and her parents were rescued desperately ill. Finally, it is alleged, the. girl put a powder in the parents' soup, after which she spent the i\ight in a whirl of gaiety in Montmartre. She returned at dawn and found her parents apparently dead. The police were set on her trail wheri they learned that her hobby was the study of poisons.
