OBITUARY.
MR GEORGE ROBERTSON. (United Press Association—Copyright). SYDNEY, August 28. Mr George Robertson, head of the leading bookselling and publishing firm of Angus and Robertson, Ltd., is dead, aged 73. He was trained by a Glasgow bookseller and went to New Zealand many years ago, afterwards going to Australia. He was associated with the majority of Australian literary men, and was a recognised authority on Australian subjects.
Mr Robertson, who was a son . of the Rev. John Robertson, of Essex, was educated at the South-Western
Academy, Glasgow.
