Commenting to-day at the Tariff Commission on the question of appeals from Customs officials' decisions, Professor Murphy said he could conceive of no more unsuitable or unwilling bodv than the Courts for handling tariff intricacies. Customs experts were more likely tc give satisfactory decisions than any court of law. There could be no question as to the impartiality of Customs experts as between individuals.
