ASHBURTON WOMEN'S CLUB The members of the women's section of the Ashburton Golf Club played an aggregate match over 36 holes vesterday, the best cards being as follow: Miss D. Vesty 146, Mrs J. B. Nieoll 155, Miss J. Lane 158, Mrs A. L. Jones 159, Mrs J. Sinclair 163, Mrs F. W. Watt 165. Miss A. Amos 168. THE MAORI TOURNAMENT WAIROA, August 3. The third annual New Zealand Maori golf championships were continued today in fine weather. A teams' match for the Parker Gold
Cup was won by South from North by! 20 strokes. The women's championship finalists wore:—Seniors: Mrs B. Hadfield and | Mrs Kurupo Tareha, the winner being Mrs Kurupo Tareha. Juniors: Mrs Kapi Tarehu and Miss N. Tareha, the winner being Miss Tareha.
