ALL BLACKS FOR AUSTRALIA FIRST STEPS TO INVITATION (Received Tins Day, 9.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The first step toward an invitation to an All Blac| team to visit Australia next season has been taken by the Management Committee of New South Wales Rugby Union. It has been decided .to ask the other State unions if they favour approaching the New Zealand Union with a .view to obtaining a visit from the best JSew Zealand side.

The "Daily Telegraph" says that undoubtedly the move will be welcomed by the Queensland and Victoria management committees. The stipulation for the best New Zealand side is interesting in view of Mr Dean's suggestionthat a Maori team be sent. New South Wales would rather have a full strength side.
