FATAL LIGHTNING
THREE KILLED IN LONDON.
THUNDERSTORMS IN BRITAIN.
SEVERE IN MANY PARTS.
SEVERAL BUILDINGS STRUCK. (United Press Association—Copyright). (Received This Day, 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, June 19. A severe thunderstorm visited many parts of England this afternoon. In the London, area three persons were killed by lightning. WIDESPREAD HAVOC CAUSED. THE DEAD TERRIBLY BURNED.

* (Received This Day, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, June 19.
A severe thunderstorm caused widespread havoc in the Midlands and the South, there being ah' unusually high percentage of casualties. The storm killed two and injured one in Epping Forest, where it lasted only a few minutes. The dead were terribly burned, their clothing being ripped off. The third death was at Woolwich.
A tram at Wembley wsjs struck by lightning, and .surrounded by flames, the passengers receiving shocks. A jeweller's shop Was struck at Brixton, the shock being felt 100 yards away.
A teashop at Peckham was struck, a glass roof falling and injuring customers.
Orchards in Kent were ruined. Hailstones as bis as half-crowns were piled to the height of 18 inches.
