Onions—Tasmanian Brown Spanish £5 10s, Globes £4 10s. Maize—Yellow and white 4s 4d. ADELAIDE, June 15. Wheat—Growers’ lots 2s lid. Flour—Bakers’ lots' £8 12s 6d. Bran and Pollard —£5 2s 6d. Oats—ls 9d. ®
SYDNEY WOOL SALES.
PRICES FIRM AT THE CLOSE
SYDNEY, June 15
At the Sydney wool sales, 8309 bales were offered, of which 7775 were sold, while. 3484 were disposed of privately. The market , was extremely firm at the close. Prices were in favour of sellers at the best point of the series. Greasy merino made 16|d. The average price for the first three days of this week' was £l2 0s 8d a bale, or 9.lid a pound. The auctions have now ended until August 28'.
LONDON TALLOW SALES.
LONDON, June 14
At the tallow sales, 1017 casks were offered, and 316 sold. Mutton was unchanged, but other sorts advanced by from sixpence to a shilling. . Quotations: Mutton, fine 24s 3d, medium 19s, beef, fine 22s 6d, medium 19s.
