SOLICITOR EXONERATED.

JUDICIAL WRONG RTGT-ITED

(United Press Association —-Copyright), SYDNEY, June 15.

The Full Court to-day restored to the roll of solicitors, Mr Thomas Ernest Role, a prominent citizen, whoso name was removed from the roll 38 years ago, after conviction lor conspiracy to pervert the course of justice in. a notable divorce suit in which concocted evidence of misconduct was brought against Mrs Mary Butler. The Chief Justice (Sir Philip Street) said that the Court exonerated Mr Rofe from any suggestion that he was a party to the preparation ol" the concocted evidence. Mr Rofe at that time was at a disadvantage because there was no Court of Criminal Appeal.

Mr Rofe is sixty-four years of age to-day. He declared that it was-the finest birthday gift be had ever received.
