"Whiskers" Blake was. unable to continue after the fourth round of a professional wrestling match with "Count" Joseph Varga, owing to recurrence of a. back injury received in a bout with Walker at Auckland. Blake had won a fall in the third round, and Varga took a fall in the fourth round when Blake had to relax a winning hold owing to the pain of his injured back. Vargo won the match when Blake resigned or defaulted.
