NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW
THE OPENING DAY. (Per Press Association. PALMERSTON N., June 14. The thirty-first National Dairy Snow under the auspices of the ManawatuWest Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Association opened in dull, threatening weather. There was a good attendance. The exhibits in the competitive classes were well up to the previous standard.. There large entries of dairy oroduce, butter numbering 226, and cheese 239. Numerous breed societies are holding their annual meetings in conjunction with the show, which extends till Saturday. Today judging is proceeding in all classes. In' addition there is .the Afanawatu Poultry Association's Show, at_ which seven North Island championships are being awarded.
