Distemper among dogs has been very prevalent in Canterbury recently, and some sheepfarmers have lost their entire teams. f The general committee of the ,canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association decided to-day to ask lor a report on the disease from the .Department of Agriculture, and from its own veterinary surgeons The committee also decided to ask County Councils to set aside a portion of the proceeds from the sale of dog licenses towards a fund for combating the disease. '
