AUSTRALIA’S DISRUPTION. FANTASTIC NEWS PUBLISHED. (United Press Association— Copyright). LONDON, June 7. The representative of .the “Sydney Sun” says that Australians in London are indignant at the fantastic cablegrams from the Melbourne correspondent of'the “Daily Herald,” who says that steps behind the scenes result in the disbandment of the Commonwealth by a general secession within a few months. It is also stated that the political leaders of the three States where the secession movement is strongest are incensed at the Commonwealth’s refusal to disclose Budget details which enable it to spend concealed surpluses on useless extravagance.
As the circulation of the newspaper approaches 2,000,000, says the “Sun,” many readers must he left with a complete misapprehension of Austia--1 lia’s position. Authorities in the city consider that the allegations are likely to damage Australia’s improving c-redit.
