GOLD RESERVES.
BANK OF ENGLAND'S RECORD (United Press Association—Copyright). LONDON, April 4. The "Financial News" says that the Bank of England's gold holding, £175,031,000, is the highest on record. This follows the purchase of £1,342,404. the bulk of which apparently was Australian for £1,000,000 arrived oil Friday and a further £2,000,000 is coming.
