DEFICIT EXPECTED.
THE FRENCH BUDGET. REDUCTION OF EXPENDITURE. (United Press Association—Copyright). PARIS, March 16. Tho Chamber of Deputies to-day commenced the discussion of the Budget which should have .been tabled last October. Expenditure totals £583,000,000, compared with last year's amount of £014,000,000. The vote for national defence is £136,000,000, compared with £159,000,000 last year. The revenue proposals will come later, but a large deficit is probable.
