JAPANESE MAINTAIN POSITION. (United Press Association— Copyright). TOKIO, March 16. The War Office officially contradicts the reports of severe fighting. Reports from Hsifengkou confirm the statement that the Japanese forces, are maintaining their position and require reinforcements. They will not advance beyond the Great Wall.
