MANAWATU CUP. WON BY BELLE O’ MINE. (Per Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, March 15. The Manawatu Trotting Club’s annual meeting was held at Ashhurst racecourse in fine weather before a large attendance. The course was in good order. The totalisator handled £4493 10's, compared with £3930 10s last year, an increase of £554. Results:—• Ladies’ Bracelet Handicap, of 55 sovs; one mile and a half.—2 (2) Derby Thorpe (Thomas) 1, 1 (1) Iron Man 2, 3 (3) Storm Queen 3. Won by two and a half lengths. Time, 3.33 3-5. Gorge Handicap, of 55 sovs; one mile and a half.—4 (5) Autumn Lu (Stubbs) 1, 1 (3) Summertime 2, 7 (9) Billy Bingen 3. Won by ten lengths. Time, 3.40. INVERCARGILL, March 15. The annual meeting of the Wyndham Trotting Club was held to-day in fine weather, before a large attendance. The track was in fast order.
