LOST MAIL-BAGS RECOVERED The mystery of hundreds of Christmas presents "that unaccountably failed to reach their destination in many parts of South Wales was solved late in January. When railway stock was being moved on a siding at Milford Haven officials made the astonishing discovery that one of the trucks contained 480 bags of Christmas ( mail which were missed during the Christmas rush. By some means the truck was carried farther than it should have been, and eventually was" left on the siding. The bags were forwarded to Cardiff. An official of. the Cardiff Post Office said: "The contents of the bags were for a variety of destinations, including Cardiff. Newport, and other towns. How the truck was sent to Milford Haven is not known,"
