AMERICA AND BRITAIN

CLOSER RELATIONSHIP EXPECTED. (Special to the "Guardian.") AUCKLAND, March 14. "I expect to see a much closer relationship between Great Britain and the United States in the next few months," .said Mr J. David Larson, secretary of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, who arrived from Sydney by the Mariposa. tn Hhe entire economic structure of the world now depends on the cooperation of the English-speaking peoples. The British and American nations have the same language, the ■same ambitions and ideals, and there is no reason why they should not work closely together for the betterment of the whole world. In fact, that is one answer to the present troubles." Mr Larson'expects to spend a month in the Dominion. His tour, he said, was in the nature of a goodwill visit to promote good business relations between his country and the British Dominions.
