The Federal Cabinet has decided that during the tourist season, from December 1 to May 1 (which corresponds with the apple export season), British ships of not less than 10,000 tons burden and 14 knots speed may carry passengers between Hobart and Brisbane, and between Sydney and Melbourne, without making formal application, or paying any fee.
