In. the House of Commons, the Secretary of State for Dominion Affaiis (Mr ,T. H. Thomas) informed Mr Lambert (National Liberal) that he had received no communication from Australia- or Mr S. M. Bruce (Australian Resident Minister in London) suggesting revision of the Ottawa meat quota. WHEAT AND MEAT IMPORTS. 'CONSULTING WITH ARGENTINE. (Received This Day, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 31. Asked! whether there had been or would be, any discussion on trade between the Irepresentatives of the Argentine Government and Britain regarding such of the proposals formulated by the Ottawa Conference as referred to British imports of wheat and meat, the Under-Seci etavy of State for Foreign Affairs (Captain R. A. Eden) replied that an exchange of views was already taking place.—British Official Wireless.
