An important amendment to the -Moratorium Act passed by the Lang; Government, is proposed in a Bil which is being introduced in the Legislative Assembly' to-day. The Moratorium Act will be extended till 1936, but the personal covenant clause, deleted, by tlie Lang Act, will be reinstated. Rural bank advances for homes and the Government Housing Department will be brought under the provisions of the moratorium in an amending Bill.
