DISARMAMENT PLANS.
THE ATTITUDE OF FRANCE.
CONDITIONAL NAVAL POLICY. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) PARIS, October 25. It is learned that the Committee of National Defence is still wrestling with the French disarmament plan. It is reported that the Minister of Marine is prepared to agree to the naval proposals only on condition that England reduces' her naval armament proportionately . A later message states that M. Boncour (Minister of War) and General Weygand have achieved a compromise. It is understood that the scheme involves the "remodelling of the permanent forces and reserves under which all nations will be able to tabulate identical categories.
