THE WORLD'S LARGEST SHIPS ENGLAND'S RECORD WEEK. (United Press Association—Copyright) RUGBY, July 30. Southampton is the scene of record activity this week-end. Twenty-two vessels, totalling 600,000 tons, including the Empress of Britain, Aquitania, Berengaria, Olympic, Homeric and others of the world's largest lmers, are sailing on holiday cruises in the Mediterranean, other foreign resorts, and for cruises round the British Isles. The cruise bookings, which are four times as great as last year, give, evidence of the growing movement to spend holidays cruising in British vessels. Imperial Airways announce that all their previous records for air transport will be broken this week-end.
