QUESTION OF NEGOTIATIONS. BRITAIN HAS NOTHING TO ADD. MOVE BY DE, VALERA EXPECTED. (United Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.50 a.m.) LONDON, June 13. In the House of Commons the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs (Mr J. H. Thomas) was asked whether, as a result of the recent conversations with the members of- the Irish Free State Government, it was proposed to conduct further negotiations in preparation for the Empire Economic Conference at Ottawa. The Minister said he had nothing to add io the official communique issued last Friday, except that he understood it was likely that a further communication would be received from the president of the Executive Council of the Irish Free State after he had had an opportunity of discussion with his colleagues.—British Official Wireless.
