MOTOR-CYCLIST'S DEATH. (Per Press Association). OAMARU, March 30. While riding a motor-cycle along Thames Street on Good Friday morning, Charles Dawson, ag&d 29, single, leaned over the side of the machine to adjust the footrest. The cycle skidded, and collided with a fence protecting a tree in the avenue. Dawson suffered grave head injuries, to which he succumbed in the Oamaru Hospital this morning. His parents reside in Southland.
