Argyle Road, in the Bombay dock area, was the scene of commotion when 200 Pathans attacked a meeting of dock strikers and began assaulting people indiscriminately. The Pathans, who had been working at the docks since the strike began, used bottles .and other missiles. A number of strikers and passers-by were injured. The police disarmed the Pathans and restored order. An armed guard is now in the area.
