FOOTBALL.
THE TINWALD CLUB. The annual meeting of the Tinwald Rugby Football Club was held last evening, when Mr R. Fisher presided. A motion of sympathy was passed with Mr H. Ross in his recent bereavement. The balance-sheet showed a credit of £9 17s. Qfficer.3 were elected as follow:~~
Patron, Mr J. Frisby; president, Mr K. Glenie; vice-presidents, Messrs W. Merrin, R. Fisher, P. Cooper, J. Wall, 0. Rooke, J. Merrin, T. Moody, G. Carroll. I. J. McDonald, L. Skilling, T. Lowery, J. Soal and C. Blair; secretary, Mr T. Samuels; treasurer, Mr L. Skilling; coaches, Messrs R. Fisher and L. Skilling; selectors, coaches, captain and Mr H. Clark; delegate to Rugby Union, Mr L. Skilling; committee, Messrs W. Menrin, S. Beaven, T. Moodie, R. Fisher, L. C Rooke, K. Glenie, secretary, treasurer and captain. ; the captain to be selected at first match. Mr AV. Merrin presented a gold medal for the most-improved thirdgrade player during the season. He was accorded a vote of thanks. It was* agreed to hold a practice match on Saturday.
