LONDON, September 4. The definite withdrawal of the French and Italian teams from the Schneider Trophy contest means that the British team will, as arranged, fly over the course on September 12, endeavouring to improve on the speeds previously attained. An effort will he made later to establish! a world speed record. The new Vickers Supermaniie Rolls-Royce seaplane has already readied a speed of 405 miles an hour in the course of practice flights. — British Official Wireless. )
