FIVE DAYS' AGONY
INJURIES RECEIVED AT SEA. ACCIDENT ON SHIP IN TASMAN. SHOULDER AND LEG CRUSHED. (United Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.0 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. F. Ray, boatswain of the Waikawa, suffered agony for fi,ve days after he was injured during the voyage from New Zealand. The vessel, which arrived here three days overdue, was without a doctor. Ray's shoulder and leg were badly crushed when a roll of newsprint fell on him. He was admitted to the hospital immediately the ship berthed.
