ENTERTAINMENTS.

MAJESTIC THEATRE. An engrossing story, lavish staging, and some of the finest music that pic-ture-goers have been offered on the talking screen are all to be found in the .first film appearance of Grace Moore, Metropolitan opera star, recently lured to the studios. In Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer’s new picture “A Lady’s Morals,” based on the life of Jenny Lind, which will be shown tonight and on Monday night, patrons have one of the most intelligent, beautiful and charming pictures ever made according to a critic. Reginald Denny and Wallace Beery support Miss Moore in this production which will j>e supported by several short features that should hold patron’s interest.

ALLAN WILKIE COMPANY. A unique entertainment will be provided by Allan Wilkie and Miss Hunter-Watts on Monday, June 22, at His Majesty’s Theatre, when they will give a. Shakespearean performance, consisting of great scenes, which will embrace about a dozen of their most famous impersonations, and the programme, besides the Shakespearean items, will also include scenes from the delightful old English comedies, “The School for Scandal”, and “She' Stoops to Conquer.” The value and enjoyment of this form of entertainment, as contrasted with the ordinary conditions of the stage presentation of Shakespeare, lies in the fact that only the essence of Shakespeare, as it were, is given, and the audience is not called upon to witness the minor scenes. Special concessions are being made to school children.
