WAGES REDUCTION.
PROTEST IN AUCKLAND. {Per Press Association). AUCKLAND, March 29. The "Red Flag," sung in front of the Domain grandstand', and the Soviet flag borne through Queen Street, were features of a Labour demonstration held in Auckland to-day to protest against the proposed wage reductions. The gathering, which had been arranged by the Auckland Labour organisations, consisted of a procession and open-air meeting, at which a motion was carried approving the resolutions of the industrial conference lately held by the Alliance of Labour, and pledging co-operation, in giving effect t 6 them.
