WASHINGTON, March 28. Despite a prospective reduction of 3 per cent in the domestic wheat acreage the United states growers again will compete in the world market with the exportable surplus of the 1931 jc-rop. Officials of the Agriculture Department said to-day that there was bttle change in the world situation, despite indicated smaller plantings in Canada and the Southern Hemisphere the department saw little possibility of the removal of the world surplus unless low yields per aero developed.
