GOLF.
THE ASHBURTON CLUB. The first medal match of the season was played by members of the Ashburton Men's Golf Club under ideal conditions on Saturday afternoon. The match was won by S. J. Thomas with a net score of 63. There was a fair attenadnce of players. The following were the best cards handed in:—•
