LOSS BY FIRE.

A HOUSE AT MANUTUKE. '(Per Press Association). GISBORNE, March 19. Fire at Mnnutuke destroyed a nineroomed house owned by Mr T. Preston and occupied by Mr R. Grayson. A line collection of war trophies and many valuable paintings wore lost. The insurances in the New Zealand office were: House, £1009; contents, £550; piano, £SO. A DWELLING AT NAPIER. NAPIER, March 18. A dwelling in Simla Terrace, owned and occupied by L. M. Rankiic was destroyed by fire last evening. The fire alarms are out of action, but a call was received hv a motor-car, and the brigade arrived to find the house completely lost.
