INQUEST ON MOTOR VICTIMS.

(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, September 19. An inquest was held to-day into the deaths of Joseph Alfred Banks and Cicely Mabel Griff as the result of a collision between their motor-cycle and a motor-car driven by J. M. Gamble at Heretaunga on the night of September 2. Gamble, according to one witness, had stated tliaf he was following another motor-car which seemed to stop, and he had pulled out to avoid running into it, and thought he struck something.'" Other evidence showed that after the crash Gamble’s car ran into a store, doing considerable damage. The Coroner found that the deaths were the result of a collision between a motor-cycle and a motor-car driven by Gamble.
