INQUIRY IN GERMANY. MARINE COURT MACHINERY. LONDON, August 13. The German Government for the first time is using the existing machinery for investigating marine accidents to undertake an inquiry into an an disaster. ( ™ The Berlin correspondent of the Times”' telegraphs that the pilot of the Dornier-Wal flying-boat wlncli crashed into the Baltic Sea on July when four persons were drowned has been arraigned before the Stettin Marine Board in the same manner as a ship’s captain, whom the board can deprive of his certificate. _ , In the case of the air pilot, the board’s finding will only have an advisory effect. One outcome of the case may be the constitution of air boaids modelled on marine boards.
