Mr R. Galbraith has been reappointed a member of the Ashburton Technical School Board of Governors as representative of the Canterbury Education Board.
Mr A. R. Harris (general manager of the Broadcasting Company), returned from a trip to the Uqited States, (says a Press Association message from Wellington).
Professor P. J. Homell, the Swedish engineer who is to report on the Arapuni dam, arrived by the Makura tliis morning, and was met by Mr F. W. Furkert (Public Works Engineer), says a Wellington telegram.
