ASSAULT ON REFEREE.
DISQUALIFIED FOR LIFE. A TARANAKI FOOTBALLER. (Per Press Association.) STRATFORD, This Day. E. Roebuck, a member of the Okato Football Club, who was recently fined in the Magistrate's Court for assaulting a referee in his club's game against Tukapa, was last night disqualified by the Rugby Union from playing for life and debarred for five years from holding office in any football club.
