DISCOVERY IN QUEENSLAND. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) BRISBANE, This Day. A rich "old reef has been discovered near an old reef at Pratten. Prospectors say the reef contains free gold estimated at 50 ounces to the ton. FIND OF BLACK OPALS. BRISBANE, This Day. Two miners at Grawin, 1 near Walgett, report a rich find of black opals in new country. The gems are worth about £6OO.
