SPEED BOAT BURNED.

A FIRE AT DUNEDIN. (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, August 17. Shortly after 10 o'clock on Saturday night, a fire broke out in a boat shed at Vauxhall. containing the speed boat June 11., 'owned toy Mr W. Hewitt, who is, also owner of the shed, and another boat belonging to Mr Cutten. An engine from the South Dunedm fire station proceeded to the fire, but no water was available, and the firemen could do little. The shed and contents were entirely destroyed. June 11., which was considered one of the best speed boats on the harbour, was insured for £725.
