WIDOW AND FOUR CHILDREN. ESTATE OF A SUICIDE. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, August 15. A remarkable story of a master mariner who committed suicide and left no provision for his wife and. four children out of an estate worth £14,000, was told at the Supreme Court when Bessie Maud Gill brought an originating summons against the executors seeking further provision. Frederick Joseph Gill made a will on September 26, 1928, anfl on September 26, 1929, committed suicide, leaving his whole estate to his brother and sister. The sister had predeceased him, so that half of the estate became available to the family. It was stated that the wife came to New Zealand in 1924 with £9OOO, and at her husband's request invested it in his name. The Court increased the family's income to £6OO per annum.
