THE EARL OF BALFOUR

HEBREW TRIBUTE IN AUCKLAND (Special to the "Guardian.") AUCKLAND, March 25. An impressive tribute to the memory of one regarded bv them as the noblest advocate of the cause of Zionism and the greatest friend of the Jewish people, the Earl of Balfour was paid yesterday by the Jewist community of Auckland at a memorial service at the Synagogue under the joint auspices of the Auckland Zionist Society and the Auckland Women's Zionist Society. There was scarcely a vacant seat in the building. The memorial address was given by the Rev S. A. Goldstein, president or the Zionist Society.
