REFORM CANDIDATE. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March 23. Mr A. J. Burrows, of Devonport, has announced his candidature in the Reform interests for the Parnell seat . rendered vacant by the resignation of Mr H. R. Jenkine. ' The Hen. J. G. Coates (leader of the Reform Partv) on arrival in Dargaville from Paihia Bay) said: *'At this : stage I have no comment to make on., the Parnell election." He also said that Mr Jenkins had seen him in connection with standing in the Reform interest. Mr Coates was noncommittal, and said it was a matter for the Reform Party at Parnell to decide. LABOUR WILL CONTEST SEAT. \ WELLINGTON, This Day. Mr W. Nash, M.P. (secretary to the Labour Party 1 ) says that the party will contest the Parnell seat.
