RECORD ENTRIES
THE MAYFIELD SHOW. A TOTAL OF 2181 RECEIVED. The entries for the Mayfield Show, which takes place on Saturday, show a large increase on previous years, and constitutes a record for the Ashburton County as well as for the Association. The total number of entries is 2181 against 2Q13 for the previous year, 1780 in 1928 and 1960 m 1927. There are noticable increases m slieep and dairy produce. Given fine weather the Show should be an outstanding success and should give the overseas farmers, who will be guests of the Association, a good insight of the stock and produce raising capacities of the County.
