SEVERAL BURGLARY CHARGES. CONVERSION OF CARS ALLEGED- y (United Press Association—Copyright.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Thirteen charges of breaking and entering shops and offices, and stealing - goods and money, were made against Norman Henry Blair Ross, aged 20. In nine of them Hector Campbell McDowell, aged 19, was concerned, and Douglas John Rodney Thorburn, aged 19, was concerned in eight. They; were also charged with unlawful conversion of motor cars, there- being eight charges against Ross and six against the other two. The estimated value of the goods and money was - £237, only about £SO having been recovered. Accused pleaded guilty to breaking and entering, and were committed for sentence. The charges of conversion were adjourned pending sentence.
