GALLANTRY MEDALS.
PRESENTATION BY THE KING. (United Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON, March 6. The King held a second investiture at Buckingham Palace to-day. The investiture, in contrast to the official one of Tuesday, was private, and morning dress was worn. Ninety recipients of honours and decorations were drawn -Jrrom all ranks of life and included a miner and seamen. . The King presented nine medals for gallantry in saving life at sett. Some of these „were in connection with rescues from ships in distress during the tempestljcus gales of last year'.
